இச் சந்திப்பில் கண்டி அஸ்கிரிய பீட மகாநாயக்க தேரர் கலந்து கொள்வதாக ஏலவே அறிவிக்கப்பட்டிருசந்த போதிலும் அவரது பிரதிநிதிகள் மாத்திரமே பங்கேற்றனர்.

இதன்போது ஹலால் விவகாரம் தொடர்பில் ஆராயப்பட்டதுடன் அது தொடர்பான விளக்கங்களும் உலமா சபை பிரதிநிதிகளால் வழங்கப்பட்டன.

நாம் இன்று வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்ற நவீனயுகம் தொழிநுற்பத்திலும் விஞ்ஞானத்திலும் ஆய்வுத்துரையிலும் எந்தளவிற் முன்னேறி உள்ளது அதே அளவு அல்லது அதனையும் விட சற்று அதிகமான அளவு உளவு பல நவீன சவல்ககளை எதிர் கொண்ட வன்னமே உள்ளது, அந்த வகையில் 2012 இல் உலகம் எதிர் கொண்டுள்ள மிக முக்கியமான 10 சவால்களை நேஒவ ஊhயபெந வாசகர்களுக்காக நாம் இங்கு தருகிறோம்.

01. தேசிய வாதமும் அடையாள போராட்டமும் (Erosion of National Pride/ Identity)

02. வறுமை (Poverty)

03. சடத்துவ வாத பொருளாதாரம் (Shifting Economy)

நவீன பொருளாதார ஒழுங்கு உலகில் அமைதி ஒழுங்கு சமத்துவம் என்பவற்றை வழர்ப்பதற்கு பதிலாக சமூக ஏற்றத்தாழ்வையும், சுறண்டல், பொய், வட்டி மற்றும் கட்டுப்பாடு அற்ற மோசடிகளையும் அபிவிருத்தி அடையச்செய்துள்ளது. சுருக்கமாக கூறின் நவீன பொருளாதாரத்திட்டம் சில தேசிய வாதிகளின் பாதுகாப்பு அறனாக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

04. சமத்துவம் அற்ற கல்விக் கொள்கை (Education Disparity)

கல்வி சமூகத்தின் சிந்தனைப்பாங்கை மாற்றும் - சிந்தனை மாற்றம் ஆரோக்கியமான சமூக, அரசியல் பொருளாதார மற்றும்; கலாச்சார மாற்றத்திற்கு வழிவகுக்கும். கல்வி எச்சமூகத்திற்கு சமத்துவமற்ற விகிதத்தில் வழங்கப்படுகின்றதோ அல்லது கல்வி புறக்கணிக்கப்படுகின்றதோ அச்சமூகம் அழிவின் விழிம்பில் வாலும் என்பதில் அய்யமில்லை

05. உடற்பருமன் (Obesity)
 
இன்றைய இளைஞர்களின் உணவுப்பழக்கம், தமது அதிக நேரங்களை Video Games, Facebook, இ போன்ற உடலுக்கு ஆரோக்கியமற்ற விடயங்களில் செலவிடல் சீரான உடற்பயிற்ச்சி இன்மை மற்றும் அதிக நேரம் தொலைக்காட்ச்சி, கையடக்க தொலைபேசி பாவனை என்பன இன்றைய இளையவர்களையும், பெறியவர்களையும் பாதித்தமையால கட்;டற்ற உடற்பருமன் மற்றும் ஆரோக்கியமற்ற உடற்கட்டமைப்பு ஆகியவை மிக ஆபத்தான சவாலாக இன்று மாறி உள்ளது.

06. சடத்துவவாதம் (Materialism)

இன்று பின்பற்றப்படும் நவீன சமூக ஒழுங்கானது சடத்துவவாதத்தையும் மணிதம் அற்ற மணிதனையுமே உருவாக்குகின்றது. அன்பு விட்டுக் கொடுப்பு பிறர் நலன் என்ற விடயங்கள் பாடத்திட்டங்களாக மாத்திரம் சுருங்கி உள்ளது. நாய் என்ற மிருகம் மணிதன் என்ற தண்மையினை தாண்டி கௌரவிக்கப்படுகின்றது.

07. பள்ளிகளில் ஆயதக் கலாச்சாரம் (Violence in Schools)

ஆயதக்கலாச்சாரத்தின் உச்ச விளைவாக பாதுகாப்பு ஆயுதங்கள் இன்று மல்லிகைக் கடைகளில் விற்கக் கூடிய சரக்குகளாக மாறி உள்ளது. சரியான பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் சட்டம், ஒழுங்கு பேணப்படாமையினால் பாடசாலைகளிலும் தெருக்களிலும் ஆயதம் ஏந்திய கும்பல்கள் சர்வசாதாரணமாகி உள்ளது.

08. ஆசாதாரன வளர்ச்சி (Growing up too Fast)

இன்றைய பெண் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் இரசாயனம் கலந்த உணவுக்ள மற்றும் அலவிற்கு அதிகமான உணவுப் பழக்கம் மற்றும் அபத்தமான சினிமா என்பவற்றின் விளைவாக குறிப்பாக பெண்கள் தமது அன்னலவான வயதிற்கு முன்னறே பூப்பெய்வது (வயதிற்கு வருவது) இன்று பாறிய சமூகப்பிறச்சினையாக மாறி உள்ளது.(Join with Next Change we will change your style )

09. போதைப் பொருள் பாவனை ( Drug/Alcohol Abuse)

உதடு உள்ள ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் என்ற இலக்குடன் இன்று சமூகத்தில் சற்வ சாதாரயமாக வலம் வரும் போதைப் பொருள் மற்றும் சிகரட் என்பன ஆரோக்கியம் அற்ற மண உழசை;சலுக்கு உள்ளான விரக்தி கொலை சமூக விடயங்களில் ஆர்வமில்லாத ஒரு இளைய சமூதாயத்தை உருவாக்கி உள்ளது.(Join with Next Change we will change your style )

10. ஒற்றை பெற்றோர் (Single Parent Households)

1950ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் மிகப் பணங்கரமாக வளர்ந்து வரும் ஒற்றை பெற்றோர் (Single Parent Households) ) அதாவது தந்தை தெறியாத நிலையில் பிறந்த குழந்தை அல்லது பல தந்தைக் குழந்தை, தாயுடைய அரவனைப்பில் மாத்திரம் வளரும் குழந்தை. இதன் விலைவு இன்று அனுபவிக்கும் சிறுவர் துஷ்பிரயோகம் முரட்டுத்தனம் கொண்ட குழந்தை மற்றும் சமூக சீற்அழிவிற்கு வித்திடும் இளை சமூதாயம் என்பவற்றை உருவாக்கி உள்ளது,

பௌத்த பிக்குகள் பாராளுமன்றத்துக்கு தெரிவு செய்யப்படுவதை தடுக்க கொண்டு வரப்பட உள்ள சட்டமூலம் குறித்து ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்சவுக்கும் ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமயவுக்கும் இடையே இடம் பெற்ற பேச்சு வார்த்தை தோல்வியில் முடிந்துள்ளது

இதனை அடுத்து எதிர்க் கட்சித் தலைவர் ரணில் விக்கிரமசிங்கவை சந்தித்து நிலைப்பாட்டை தெளிவு படுத்தியதாக ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமய பொதுச் செயலாளர சம்பிக ரணவக்க தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

"பிக்குமார்கள் பாராளுமன்றத்திற்கு தெரிவு செய்யப்படுவதை தடுக்க சூழ்ச்சிகள் இடம்பெறுகின்றன. இது குறித்து ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஷவுடன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்ட போதிலும் அது கூடியளவில் திருப்தியளிக்கவில்லை.

பௌத்த பிக்குகள் இலங்கை வரலாற்றில் உள்நாட்டு ஆட்சியிலும் ஏனைய நிர்வாகங்களிலும் முக்கிய பங்குகளை வகித்துள்ளனர். இதனை தடுப்பதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகள் அப்போதும் இப்போதும் இடம்பெறுகின்றன. " என்று அமைச்சரும் ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமயவின் பொதுச் செயலாளருமான சம்பிக ரணவக்க தெரிவித்துள்ளார்

ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியின் பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினரும் ஜனாதிபதி சட்டத்தரணியுமான விஜேதாச ராஜபக்ஷ பிக்குமார்கள் பாராளுமன்றம் வருவதை தடுக்கும் வகையிலான தனி நபர் பிரேரணையை பாராளுமன்றத்தில் முன் வைக்க உள்ளார்.

"பிக்குமார்கள் பாராளுமன்றத்தை பிரதிநிதித்துவம் செய்வதை யாராலும் தடுக்க இயலாது. இதனை ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமய வன்மையாகக் கண்டிக்கின்றது.

இது தொடர்பில் ஜனாதிபதி மஹிந்த ராஜபக்ஷவுடனும் பேச்சுவார்த்தைகளை முன்னெடுத்தோம். அதேபோன்று எதிர்க்கட்சித் தலைவரர் ரணில் விக்கிரமசிங்கவையும் சந்தித்து பேசியுள்ளோம். இச்சந்திப்புகள் கூடிய திருப்தியளிக்கவில்லை. நாட்டு மக்களால் தீர்மானிக்கப்பட வேண்டிய விடயங்களை பாராளுமன்றத்தாலும் தீர்மானிக்க முடியாது.

பாராளுமன்றத்தில் அரசிற்கு மூன்றில் இரண்டு பெரும்பான்மை உள்ளது. ஜாதிக ஹெல உறுமய அரசாங்கத்தின் பிரதான பங்காளி கட்சியாகும்.

எனவே, எவ்விதமான பிரேரணைகளை பிக்குமார்களுக்கு எதிராக கொண்டு வந்தாலும் அதனை தோல்வியடையச் செய்வோம். நாட்டிற்கு பிக்குமார்களின் தலைமைத்துவமும் வழிநடத்தலும் இன்றியமையாதவையாகும். எனவே, பிக்குமார்கள் பாராளுமன்றத்தை பிரதிநிதித்துவம் செய்வதை தடுத்தால் கடும் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும்" என்று அவர் மேலும் கூறினார்.

Assistant Librarian
	Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka who are physically sound and of excellent moral character for the post of Assistant Librarian on the Staff of the Secretary-General of Parliament. Applications prepared in accordance with the specimen given below should be sent under registered cover along with the copies of the certificates of educational/professional qualifications and experience to reach the "Secretary General of Parliament, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte" on or before 09.07.2012 indicating the post applied for, on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. 1. Salary Scale Rs. 274,620 – 3 x 4,380 /13 x 6,000 – 365,760/- per annum). (On this scale, the minimum monthly remuneration, with all allowances, will be approximately Rs. 49,298/-) An Assistant Librarian on successful completion of ten years’ satisfactory service, will be eligible for promotion to a Post of Senior Assistant Librarian and placed on the salary scale of Rs. 306,180 – 5x7,740 / 8 x 9,480 – 420,720/- (On this scale the minimum monthly remuneration with allowances will be approximately Rs. 52,925/-)
Requirements:	2. Age Not less than 21 and not more than 45 years of age as at 09.07.2012 (The upper age limit will not apply to those who have already been confirmed in a permanent post in Parliamentary Service, Public Service and Provincial Public Service). 3. Educational and Professional Qualifications (i) Degree from a recognized university and Final Examination in Library Science, Documentation and Information Science of the Sri Lanka Library Association or the Professional Advanced Certificate in Library and Documentation Services of the University of Kelaniya or equivalent qualification. Or (ii) Degree in Library Science from a recognized University, And (iii) Completion of a course on Library Automation or Information Technology from a recognized institution. (iv) An excellent command in Sinhala/Tamil and English. 4. Experience Should have 5 years experience in a recognized Library.
Other Information:	5. Method of Recruitment Through a written test and an interview. 6. Terms and Conditions of Service (i) These posts are permanent and pensionable. Appointment will be made subject to three-year probation period. If a person who has been confirmed in Public / Provincial Public Service is selected, he / she will be appointed subject to an acting period of one year. (ii) Selected candidates will be subject to Financial and Departmental regulations applicable to the staff of the Secretary General of Parliament. (iii) Selected candidates should contribute to Widows’ and Orphans’/Widowers’ and Orphans’ Pension Fund from his / her salary with a percentage specified by the government. Selected candidates will be subject to a medical examination. (iv) A Security Clearance Report with respect to the selected candidate will be obtained prior to his / her appointment. 7.
